These Terms of Service (“Terms”) apply to your use of theleafofeverystyle.com (the “Site”) and any purchase you make from The Leaf of Every Style (“LES”, “we”, “us”), an online-only store based in Virginia, USA. By using the Site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.

1. Who can buy

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to place an order. Younger shoppers may use the Site and shop with the involvement and permission of a parent or guardian.

2. Products, colors and sizing

We do our best to describe and photograph our products accurately. Colors can look different on different screens, and sizes can vary slightly between styles, so please check each product’s details and our size guide before you buy.

3. Makeup and beauty products

Each makeup product page lists its ingredients. Please read the ingredient list before you buy, especially if you have allergies or sensitive skin, and try a new product on a small patch of skin first. Stop using a product and talk to a doctor if irritation or a reaction occurs. Use products only as directed and before any expiration or “period after opening” date on the packaging. Makeup used by children should be used with an adult’s supervision. Our makeup products are cosmetics and aren’t intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any condition. For hygiene reasons, opened or used makeup can’t be returned (see our Shipping & Returns policy).

4. Prices and availability

Prices are listed in US dollars. Items are subject to availability, and we may change prices, products or offers at any time without notice. If an item’s price is listed incorrectly, we may cancel orders for that item and will refund any payment.

5. Orders and payment

Placing an order is an offer to buy. We may accept, decline or cancel any order, for example if an item is unavailable, a pricing error occurs, or we suspect fraud. If we cancel after you’ve paid, we’ll refund you in full. You agree to give us accurate information and to use a payment method you’re authorized to use. Applicable sales tax is calculated at checkout.

6. Shipping, returns and refunds

Shipping, returns and refunds are covered by our Shipping & Returns policy, which is part of these Terms. Risk of loss passes to you when your order is delivered to the carrier.

7. Your account

If you create an account, keep your password secure. You’re responsible for activity under your account. Let us know right away if you think someone else has used it.

8. Reviews and messages

If you submit a review or other content, it must be honest, respectful and lawful, and must not include anyone else’s personal information. You give us permission to display and use it in connection with the Site. We may remove any content at our discretion.

9. Our content

The LES name, logo, text, graphics and other content on the Site belong to LES or our licensors and are protected by law. You may not copy or use them for commercial purposes without our written permission.

10. Acceptable use

Don’t misuse the Site. This includes attempting to break its security, interfering with how it works, scraping it, or using it for anything unlawful or fraudulent.

11. Disclaimers

The Site and our products are provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties not expressly stated in these Terms, including implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, LES is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Virginia, unless the law where you live requires otherwise.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes apply to orders placed after the updated Terms are posted, and we’ll change the effective date above.
